PADI SCUBA DIVER COURSE:

What is the Scuba Diver course?

The PADI Scuba Diver course is designed for people who don’t have enough time or aren’t sure about taking Sailing Club Diver’s full Open Water Diver course. It’s a basic diving certification that would open the door to the underwater world and let you dive under a professional supervision. Also a great achievement if you already took a “Discover Scuba Diving” program and feel like learning more, reaching the next step into your diver education!

How long does it take to get a scuba diving license?

To enroll into a Scuba Diver course (or Junior Scuba Diver) you must be 10 years old or older and in good physical health.

No prior experience in scuba diving needed (Check out our Discover Scuba Diving program if you would like to try diving before enrolling into a course).

The PADI Scuba Diver course is divided in three components and conducted over two days to become a certified diver and earn your scuba diving license. After successfully completing the Open Water Diver course, your digital certification card (PADI eCard™) may be downloaded within 24 hours — usually sooner.

DAY 1:

  • Knowledge Development; learn the basic but crucial principles of scuba diving in our classroom, or through online independent study before joining us (PADI e-learning or “Touch” application for tablets, ask us about details).
  • Confined Water Dives: at the swimming pool with your Instructor you will learn how to use your equipment, simulate and solve problems and master diving skills.

DAY 2:

  • Open Water Dives 1 and 2: from our boat with your Instructor, two ocean training dives to a maximum depth of 12 meters, repeating some of the skills learned and exploring the reefs!
  • You would then get certified to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters under the direct supervision of a PADI professional.

This course covers the first three Knowledge Development session, the first three Confined Water Dives and the first two Open Water Dives from the PADI Open Water Diver course. You could upgrade to it by completing the missing sections anytime, anywhere!

Ratio: maximum two students per Instructor (up to four on request).

Including: full equipment rental, digital manual and certification fees;transfers to and from swimming pool and boat; lunch, snacks and refreshment when on board; marine park fees and boat insurance.

Important: after two dives or more over a single day you must wait 18 hours minimum before flying!
